CONFERENCE DETAILS:  

1.  Instruction in leadership techniques and hands-on leadership problem solving are featured throughout the conference.  These methods of instruction are used to enhance student ability to successfully lead a group.  

2.  Guest speakers provide insight as to the role and application of leadership in the disciplines they represent.  Practical exercises enable the students to practice the leadership skills they have learned during the conference.

3.  The students also experience the dynamics of organizing a group, preparing a meeting agenda, conducting a meeting, assigning group tasks to group members and recording meeting results.

4.  Each MOWW chapter shall notify the Registrar concerning each students travel arrangements to include mode of travel and arrival time.  Each student shall be notified either by the local MOWW chapter or by the Registrar regarding plans to meet students arriving by public transportation. 

5.  Transportation to and from the conference is the responsibility of the sponsoring MOWW chapters.  Students may be transported to and from the conference by their parents or other responsible adults.  Students who drive themselves to the conference will be required to turn in their keys to the Director or Registrar immediately upon arrival at the conference.  Keys will be returned to students upon completion of the conference. 

6.  Students who travel to the conference by air, bus or train will be met and returned to those terminals by conference staff members at the conclusion of the conference.
